1. Introduction

watchit (“we”, “our”, “the app”) is a personal food-reaction tracker that helps you log meals and track how foods affect your well-being. This policy explains how we handle your data.

2. Data We Collect

• Account information: Email address and display name you provide at sign-up.
• Meal logs: Food names, meal types, portion sizes, timestamps, and optional notes you enter.
• Check-in data: Self-reported energy, digestion, and mood scores.
• Insights: Patterns derived from your meal and check-in data.

We do not collect location data, contacts, photos, or any data beyond what you explicitly enter.

3. How We Use Your Data

Your data is used solely to:

• Provide the core app functionality (logging meals, check-ins, and generating insights).
• Send local on-device notifications to remind you to check in after meals.

We do not sell, share, or use your data for advertising.

4. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored securely using Supabase, which provides encrypted data storage and secure authentication. Data is transmitted over HTTPS.

5. Data Retention and Deletion

• You can delete individual meal entries from the app at any time.
• You can clear all your data using the “Clear History & Reset” option in your profile.
• You can delete your account by contacting us, and all associated data will be permanently removed.

6. Third-Party Services

• Supabase: Cloud database and authentication. See supabase.com/privacy.
• Expo: Development framework. No user data is shared with Expo in production builds.

7. Children's Privacy

watchit is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected by the “Last updated” date above.
